Isaiah 9: 2-3; 6-7
The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light. They lived in a land of shadows, but now light is shining on them. You have given them great joy, Lord; you have made them happy.  A child is born to us! A son is given to us! And he will be our ruler. He will be called “Wonderful Counsler,” “Mighty God,” “Eternal Father,”  “Prince of Peace.” His royal power will continue to grow; his kingdom will always be at peace.

Isaiah 58: 9-11
Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’ “If you take away the yoke from your midst, The pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness, If you extend your soul to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light shall dawn in the darkness, and your darkness shall be as the noonday.  The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones;
You shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.

Psalm 62: 1-2; 5-8
For God alone my soul waits in silence; from Him comes my salvation. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall never be shaken. For God alone my soul waits in silence, for my hope is from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. On God rests my deliverance and my
honour; my mighty rock, my refuge is in God. Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before Him;God is a refuge for us.

Psalm 95: 107
Come, let us sing joyfully to the LORD; cry out to the rock of our salvation. Let us greet him with a song of  raise, joyfully sing out our psalms. For the LORD is the great God, the great king over all gods. Whose hands hold the depths of the earth; who owns the tops of the mountains.  The sea and the dry land belong to God,
who made them, formed them by hand.  Enter, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD who made us. For this is our God, whose people we are, God's well-tended flock.

Psalm 136: 4-9;23-26
Who alone has done great wonders, God's love endures forever; Who skillfully made the heavens, God's love endures forever; Who spread the earth upon the waters, God's love endures forever; Who made the great lights, God's love endures forever; The sun to rule the day, God's love endures forever; The moon and stars to rule the night, God's love endures forever; The Lord remembered us in our misery, God's love endures forever;
Freed us from our foes, God's love endures forever; And gives food to all flesh, God's love endures forever;
Praise the God of heaven, God's love endures forever.
